Springfield Armorys Agency Optic System (AOS) er et præcisionsudviklet montagesystem designet specifikt til 1911 DS-platformen. Hver plade er fræset af massivt stål (billet steel) og udviklet til at give en naturlig og korrekt optikhøjde, så skytter hurtigt kan finde deres sigtebillede og opnå øjeblikkelig måloptagelse.
Pladerne leveres med integreret bagsigte og inkluderer alle nødvendige monteringsskruer til fastgørelse på 1911 DS-pistoler. Selve sigtemontagen til de enkelte optikker afhænger af producentens egne skruer, som i visse tilfælde skal tilpasses eller udskiftes.
Med AOS-systemet kan skytter let konfigurere deres 1911 DS til en bred vifte af rødpunktsigter fra førende producenter som Trijicon, Holosun, Leupold, Vortex, Shield m.fl.
