Vortex Impact 4000 Ballistic Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder is an advanced instrument that brings cutting-edge technology to long-range shooters and open terrain hunters. This tactical tool has a maximum range of up to 4000 yards to reflective targets, 2500 yards to trees and 1500 yards to deer, with a minimum range of 5 yards and an accuracy of 0.5 yards at 100 yards.

The Impact 4000 is unique with its Picatinny mount that allows attachment to any Picatinny-style rail or rings with a diving table mount. This feature ensures a quick and reliable reset, even under heavy recoil. The device also includes an integrated GeoBallistics® Solver supported by an updated ball library to ensure accurate wind and dip solutions. Users can customize ballistic profiles or choose from ten preloaded profiles for popular cartridges.

To further improve accuracy, there are built-in environmental sensors, including a compass and sensors to measure temperature, pressure and humidity. Wind Bearing Capture Mode allows manual entry of wind speed and direction, and the unit also has a built-in Range Card Generator that can create and store up to ten range cards with dip and wind corrections.

For added convenience, the Impact 4000 can be connected to the GeoBallistics® App for quick customization, as well as the included Bluetooth® Remote Control for easy adjustments without leaving the firing position. It can also be paired with third-party devices via the GeoBallistics® App, which can connect to popular weather devices or local weather stations.
