Ranger Point Precision's Flyweight loading port is a highly tuned upgrade for your Marlin live action rifle that drastically reduces the force required to load the rifle. With only 0.68kg of pressure to open the loading port, compared to over 2.3kg on the factory fitted version, this port makes loading the magazine significantly easier. The loading gate is SASS-approved and is suitable for both competition and hunting use.

In addition to the reduced spring force, Ranger Point has redesigned the loading port to provide additional room for cartridges, making it especially useful when loading thicker, straight-walled cartridges such as the Marlin 444. This improved port offers a smooth and trouble-free loading, even in larger calibers, which ensures fast and reliable ammunition supply.

The tailgate is CNC machined from a solid piece of 7075-T6 aluminum known for its exceptional strength and resistance to fatigue. With a hard anodized surface that exceeds the hardness of hardened steel, this upgrade ensures durability and wear resistance. The precisely optimized internal geometry also improves sliding over the next cartridge in the magazine, providing trouble-free opening and reliable firing every time.
