Description

Magpul STR (Storage/Type Restricted) Carbine Stock – Mil-Spec is a drop-in replacement stock for AR15/M4 carbines that use Mil-Spec buffer tube. This model is a storage-friendly version of the CTR® flask, with improved cheek wrap and two water-resistant battery tubes on a compact, reinforced polymer A-frame design. The stock includes a shielded operating grip and a supplemental friction lock system that prevents accidental operation and minimizes excessive movement of the stock for increased weapon stability and accuracy.

The flask has two water-resistant battery tubes located on the left and right sides, each can store up to two CR123A lithium or AA batteries. The tubes are accessible from the rear in any piston position via a hand-removable rubber plug. The sloped cheek pad combines a slim profile with user comfort. A replaceable 0.76 cm rubber back cover offers a non-slip surface and increases shock absorption. The stock is compatible with Magpul ASAP®, ASAP® QD. including a reversible Type 1 Rear Strap mount that fits up to 1.5" QD strap carabiners and 1.5" rear/bottom strap eyes.
