Description
Developed in close collaboration with Chris Costa of Costa Ludus, Ranger Point Precision's Costa M-LOK rail system for Marlin rifles provides shooters with a versatile and robust upgrade to their lever-action rifles. This handguard is designed for Marlin models with a barrel, such as the 336 and 336W in .30-30 Win and .35 Rem, as well as the 1894 C/CSS. The hand guard is made of durable 6061-T6 aluminum with Type III anodization, which provides light weight, strength and resistance to wear.
With M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom, you can easily mount accessories such as scopes, red dot sights and night vision goggles. The system includes two gator rails that can be rotated 180 degrees for optimal eye distance with red dot sights or long range sights. The modular design allows the removal of unused rails to reduce weight and achieve lower mounting heights.
The Costa rail system has adjustment in three directions to ensure a perfect fit for your rifle. This includes adjustments at the receiver junction via angled set screws, at the mounting stud, and vertically at each leg of the gator rails. This two-piece construction decouples the handguard from the receiver, which maintains optimal accuracy and eliminates unnecessary weight on the rifle.
This system is extremely robust and can withstand heavy loads without compromising performance or handling. The unique, aggressive design provides excellent grip with or without a hand stop and offers QD mounting holes as well as a threaded hole for a traditional strap stud.
